Background: Every year, traffic accidents continue to occur, including accidents involving students who suffer injuries or fatalities. Research reports in Bandung show that the majority of traffic accident victims are males aged 16-30 years, including students. This educational program aims to increase their knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety, with the expectation of reducing accidents caused by a lack of awareness.
Method: The target participants were 12th-grade students from SMK Madani, a health vocational school located near the IKI campus. The program was conducted on August 19, 2024, at Campus 2 of Institut Kesehatan Immanuel Bandung, involving 77 students accompanied by three teachers. The education session was delivered by a representative from the Bandung City Transportation Department. Evaluation was carried out using a pretest and posttest with five multiple-choice questions. Results: The findings showed an increase in scores after the educational session, indicating the effectiveness of the program in enhancing students' understanding of traffic regulations.
Conclusion: This initiative is expected not only to reduce the risk of accidents among students but also to instill a strong sense of discipline and responsibility.
