PENGARUH VIDEO EDUKASI TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU YANG MEMILIKI ANAK USIA KURANG DARI 6 BULAN TENTANG MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI

Abstract

Complementary food (MP-ASI) is an additional food given to infants from the age of 6 to 24 months. The recap prevalence of infants under two years old who received complementary food was 1.163 children with a percentage (9.09%), in the Central Cimahi Area as many as 439 children (11.39%). This study aims to determine the effect of educational videos on the knowledge and attitudes of mothers who have children aged less than 6 months about MP-ASI. The design of this study used a pre- experiment using one group pretest- post test design. The sample technique in this study uses total sampling. The sample in this study are mothers who had children aged less than 6 months in the Work Area of Central Cimahi Health Center, totaling 31 mothers. Data was collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out univariate using the median or mean value with the data normality test using the Shapiro Wilk and bivariate using the Wilcoxon test.The result of this study showed the effect of educational videos on the knowledge and attitudes of respondents with the Wilcoxon test result p value of 0.000. It is recommended for cadres and local health services to conduct health educational about complementary food in the area as an additional form of information to mothers who will give MP-ASI and who are giving MP-ASI so that mothers can increase their knowledge about MP-ASI.
