HUBUNGAN TINGKAT DEPRESI DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP ORANG DENGAN HIV (ODHIV)

Background: WHO indicates that approximately 39.0 million people are living with HIV at the end of 2022, and 1.3 million people are infected with HIV in 2022. In 2022 as many as 630,000 people will die from HIV-related diseases globally. Problems that often occur include promiscuous sexual behavior, with the causal factor of this promiscuous sexual behavior being that teenagers do not have in-depth knowledge about HIV/AIDS so they do not know the impact of promiscuous sexual behavior. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about HIV/AIDS and dating behavior in class XI teenagers at Senior High School XX Purwadadi. Method: This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational approach, with a sample of 70 respondents taken using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire on HIV/AIDS knowledge and dating behavior. Results: The results showed that teenagers had insufficient knowledge (17.1%), and risky dating behavior (18.6%). In this study Ha was accepted with a p-value (0.000) < (0.05) with a significance of (0.697) which means there is a relationship between knowledge about HIV/AIDS and dating behavior in class XI teenagers at Senior High School XX Purwadadi. Conclusion: It is hoped that teenagers from Senior High School XX Purwadadi will further increase their knowledge about HIV/AIDS by attending seminars/counseling about HIV/AIDS and seeking information about reproductive health to avoid risky dating behavior.
