Background: Establishing a healthy lifestyle early in childhood is essential to mitigate the risk of obesity and break the chain of metabolic diseases. Regular physical activity and balanced nutrition are key factors for optimal growth and development. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a healthy lifestyle educational program as a preventive measure against childhood obesity. Methods: The intervention was conducted using a direct lecturing and Q&A method, supported by visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and informative leaflets. The program involved 20 school-aged children and utilized a pre-test and post-test design to measure knowledge improvement. Additionally, a healthy food demonstration was performed to provide a practical understanding of ideal weight management. Results: The post-test results showed a significant increase in the participants' knowledge levels regarding healthy habits. The use of leaflets as a take-home reference proved effective in reinforcing the material delivered during the session. The children demonstrated high engagement and a better grasp of nutritional concepts following the food demonstration. Conclusion: Interactive educational methods combined with supportive visual media are highly effective in enhancing health literacy among children. These findings suggest that well-planned communication and appropriate educational tools are vital for the success of future obesity prevention programs.
