Abstract

Basic Life Support (BLS) is a critical emergency intervention that can significantly increase survival rates in cases of sudden cardiac arrest. However, the level of BLS knowledge and skills among high school teachers and students is still limited, especially in school environments. This community service program aims to improve practical BLS skills among teachers and students from high schools and health vocational schools in Cimahi City. This activity was carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences Building, Jenderal Achmad Yani University, with 56 participants from 11 schools, consisting of 45 students and 9 teachers.   The training was conducted over two days and was held in 2025 using lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and hands-on practice. The results showed an improvement in BLS skills and understanding among participants after the training. This program demonstrates that structured BLS training can effectively improve emergency preparedness in school environments and support the integration of BLS education into school health programs.
