Abstract

This community service program addresses the high prevalence of non-communicable disease, low awareness of Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors, and limited coverage of free health screenings in Cimahi City. The program's targets include comprehensive education on NCD prevention, increased PHBS knowledge, and expanded access to free health check-ups. Expected outcomes encompass enhanced community understanding and awareness of health, higher participation in screenings, early detection of NCDs (such as hypertension, blood sugar, and cholesterol), and sustained collaboration between academia and Puskesmas. The implementation method involved a preparation phase, interactive health education, and free basic health screenings (blood pressure, blood sugar, total cholesterol, nutritional status) conducted across 13 Community Health Centers in Cimahi City, followed by monitoring and evaluation. Results indicate improved community understanding of NCDs and PHBS, and successful early detection of previously undiagnosed health condition. High community participation underscores the urgent need for accessible promotional-preventive health services. The program concludes that health education and free screenings are effective in raising awareness and facilitating early detection. It is recommended to strengthen post-screening follow-up, integrate sustainable programs, develop adaptive materials, empower cadres, and evaluate long-term impacts.
