PELATIHAN DAUR ULANG LIMBAH ORGANIK DAPUR MENJADI ECO ENZYME BAGI IBU RUMAH TANGGA

Abstract

The results of Sleman Regency development achievements related to waste management are mostly 58.9% carried out by handling TPA. Waste management still depends on groups, namely TPS3R and collectors. As the initial source of waste, families need to carry out household waste management efforts independently. Eco enzyme is one method of processing organic waste that is easy to do at a household scale. This community service aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of housewives in the Padukuhan Tanjungsari BKR group for processing household organic waste into eco-enzymes. The intervention of this activity used the method of counseling, practice, pre-test, and post-test. The activity will be conducted in December 2021 at the Balai BKR Tanjungsari. Participants in this training activity were BKR Tanjungsari cadres with 17 people. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the average test scores of participants after the counseling were higher than before the counseling. Data analysis using paired t-test showed a significant difference in the mean score before and after counseling (p <0.05). The participant's activity evaluation showed that all activities in this service had been carried out well.
