PEMANFAATAN REFERENCE MANAGER ZOTERO UNTUK DOSEN DAN PENELITI DI LINGKUNGAN STIKES JENDERAL ACHMAD YANI CIMAHI

Abstract

Writing a scientific paper needs to mention the reference source used as a reference. This needs to be done so that plagiarism does not occur. In some cases, plagiarism occurs accidentally. Some writers sometimes miss to include cited sources and bibliography. This happens because the references made still using the manual method. To prevent this, various software are available to help and make it easier for writers. Zotero is a reference manager that can be used free of charge, helping and making it easier for writers to manage reference sources as a reference in writing references. This training activity was carried out within 2 times of activity, namely on September 16 and October 16, 2019, which was attended by 61 participants. The training activity begins with three main activities Explanation of the material and the use of the Zotero application, practice using the Zotero application, Participants are given assignments and Participants fill out a questionnaire. The results of the activity showed an increase in the participants ability to use Zotero to manage citations and bibliographies in making scientific articles.
