The study population consisted of all eighth-grade adolescent girls; quota sampling was used to select 68 female students. The instrument was a questionnaire assessing the effectiveness of animated video health education media. The animated video lasted 3 minutes and 30 seconds. The research data comprised primary data obtained through pre- and post-intervention knowledge questionnaires administered to the respondents. Data analysis was performed univariately to examine frequency distributions with percentages, and bivariately using the Wilcoxon test and the Marginal Homogeneity test. Results: Before the intervention using animated videos, of the 68 adolescent girls, the majority had adequate knowledge (60.3%), 33.8% had good knowledge, and 5.9% had insufficient knowledge. After the intervention, knowledge levels increased, with no respondents falling into the insufficient category; 97.1% were in the adequate category and 2.9% in the good category. The Wilcoxon test showed p = 0.772 (p > 0.05), while the Marginal Homogeneity test showed p = 0.002 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in knowledge before and after the intervention. Conclusion: Health education using animated video media is effective in improving adolescent girls’ knowledge about menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea).
2026-05-06T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 JURNAL KESEHATAN KARTIKAhttps://ejournal.stikesjayc.id/index.php/litkartika/article/view/472PERKEMBANGAN ANAK USIA DINI DALAM PENDEKATAN HOLISTIK : TINJAUAN LITERATUR2026-04-25T17:06:06+07:00Lina Haryanilina.mids46@gmail.comLeni Liana Sarilenilianasari1@gmail.com
Background: Child development involves various interconnected aspects, such as physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language aspects, so a holistic approach is needed to understand development as a whole. Various studies have shown that imbalanced stimulation, especially when stimulation focuses only on academic abilities while social-emotional aspects are less considered, results in children not receiving optimal developmental support. This emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach in understanding child development. Objective: To review the literature related to various aspects of early childhood development and describe a holistic approach in supporting child development as a whole.Method: This study employed a literature review using a narrative review approach. Data were obtained from the Google Scholar and PubMed databases, covering publications from 2021 to 2025, using Boolean-based keywords. A total of 35 articles were initially identified (n=35), of which 9 articles met the inclusion criteria (n=9) and were included in the analysis. Data were analyzed descriptively by categorizing findings based on developmental domains. Results: Of the 35 identified articles, 9 met the inclusion criteria and were included in the analysis. The synthesis indicates that early childhood development is consistently described as a multidimensional process with interrelated domains. The reviewed studies highlight the interconnections among cognitive, language, motor, and socio-emotional development, with varying emphases on play-based activities, parenting practices, learning environments, and the use of educational media. In addition, several studies report that developmental stimulation practices remain predominantly academically oriented and do not fully reflect a holistic approach. Conclusion: A holistic approach is an important strategy for understanding and monitoring child development. Positive parenting, family environment, social interaction, and collaboration between parents, health workers, and educators play an important role in supporting child development in various aspects.
2026-05-06T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 JURNAL KESEHATAN KARTIKAhttps://ejournal.stikesjayc.id/index.php/litkartika/article/view/471ANALISIS PENGARUH PERILAKU KEBERSIHAN TERHADAP RISIKO DERMATITIS PADA KAKI PETANI JERUK DI BERASTAGI2025-11-20T16:31:24+07:00Suryani SitumeangSitumeang.suryani@gmail.comDigna Renny Panduwatidignarennytlm@gmail.comKarolina br Surbaktidignarennytlm@gmail.com
Background: Dermatitis is a common skin health problem among farmers and is associated with personal hygiene practices in humid working conditions and exposure to agricultural chemicals. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between hygiene practices and the risk of dermatitis in the feet of orange farmers in Berastag. Methods: The study design employed a descriptive-analytical approach using a cross-sectional method. Good documentation is not only an improvement, but is important for the continuity of care, patient safety, and communication between health professionals. Objective: This study aims to determine nurses' perceptions of the head nurse's leadership style with nurse performance in nursing documentation. Method: This study is an analytical survey study with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 46 respondents who are team leaders and nurses with a total sampling method. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets. Results: Based on the results of the study, 37 respondents (80.4%) stated that the head nurse’ leadership style was democratic and 9 respondents (19.6%) stated that the head nurse’ leadership style was authoritarian. A total of 30 respondents (65.2%) did incomplete dormitory documentation and only 16 respondents (34.8%) did complete documentation. The results of the chi-square test showed a relationship between leadership style and nurse performance in nursing documentation with a p-value = 0.001. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the head nurse’ leadership style and nurses' performance in documenting nursing care in inpatient wards. Head nurses need to implement an appropriate leadership style to improve nurses' performance, particularly in documenting patient care, from assessment to evaluation. This can enhance mutual care and minimize service errors.
2026-05-06T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 JURNAL KESEHATAN KARTIKAhttps://ejournal.stikesjayc.id/index.php/litkartika/article/view/536PENERAPAN BREATHING RELAXATION BALLOON BLOWING SEBAGAI INTERVENSI KEPERAWATAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SATURASI OKSIGEN PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS : CASE REPORT2026-04-27T14:41:39+07:00Mohammad Dwi Ardiantoiniardianto@gmail.comShalsa Nabillainiardianto@gmail.com
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global health issue with high incidence rates in Indonesia, including West Java Province.
